Brian Scott is the President of Escot Bus Lines, a family-owned transportation company headquartered in Pinellas County. As a business owner and job creator, Brian understands firsthand which policies help local businesses grow and which policies hold them back.
Brian currently serves on the Pinellas County Commission and served as Chairman in 2025. Under his leadership, the Commission lowered the county's millage rate while working to reduce government waste, helping keep Pinellas County one of the most fiscally responsible counties in Florida.

Keeping Pinellas Affordable
Pinellas County should remain a place where families, seniors, and small businesses can afford to live and thrive. Brian Scott believes government must live within its means and focus on responsible budgeting that protects taxpayers. As County Commission Chair, Brian helped deliver the first rollback of the county millage rate in seven years and continues working to eliminate wasteful spending and keep Pinellas affordable.
Property Tax Relief
Rising property values should not automatically mean higher tax bills. Brian Scott believes local government must adjust tax rates to prevent backdoor tax increases on homeowners. Brian has consistently supported lowering the millage rate and fighting for fiscal discipline so families, seniors, and small businesses are not priced out of Pinellas County.
Storm Resiliency
Living on Florida's Gulf Coast means preparing for the storms of the future. Brian Scott is committed to strengthening Pinellas County's infrastructure to better protect homes, businesses, and communities. Brian supports investing in stormwater systems, flood protection, and emergency preparedness to ensure Pinellas County is ready to recover quickly after major storms.

Pinellas County's beaches are one of our greatest assets and vital to our local economy. Brian Scott supports continued beach renourishment and coastal protection projects that safeguard our shoreline.
